Silver Script Glass Mezuzah Scroll Guidance
This mezuzah case is designed to hold a 4-inch or 5-inch kosher mezuzah scroll. The glass case gives the doorway its finished appearance, but the kosher status comes from the handwritten klaf (קְלָף, parchment) inside.
If you choose No Scroll, we will ship your mezuzah case without a scroll inside. Choose this option if you already have a kosher scroll that fits this case.
If you need a scroll as well, you can choose the Basic Kosher Scroll or the larger Superior Kosher Scroll. If you choose one of these options, we can ship your mezuzah with the scroll carefully rolled and inserted inside the case.
When this mezuzah is shipped with a scroll already inserted, we seal the opening with double-sided tape to help create an airtight seal, making the case usable on exterior doorways when properly sealed. For more options, browse our mezuzah scrolls.
Since this style uses adhesive mounting, our guide to mounting tape can help explain when tape is an appropriate option for placing a mezuzah on a smooth doorpost.
