Shipping
How much does shipping cost?
Standard domestic shipping is a flat $5, no matter how many items you order or where in the United States they are going. Shipping is free on domestic orders over $100.
Faster services are priced live at checkout based on your delivery address, order size, carrier, and speed, so you can compare the available options and their delivery estimates before you place your order. You do not need an account to see rates.
How quickly do orders ship?
Most orders ship the same or next business day after the order is placed. We are closed on Shabbat and most Jewish holidays, so orders placed while we are closed will ship as soon as we reopen.
Once your order ships, you will receive an email with tracking information so you can follow your package while it is on the way.
How long does delivery take?
Standard domestic orders typically arrive within 2 to 5 business days after they ship. California addresses usually arrive within 1 to 2 business days. Add up to one business day of handling before the package leaves us.
Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. Weather, carrier delays, and holiday volume can add a day. If your order is time sensitive, choose a faster service at checkout or contact us before ordering and we will help you pick the right option.
Free domestic shipping
Free shipping is available on domestic orders over $100. Add your mezuzahs, kosher scrolls, tefillin, or Judaica gifts to the cart and continue to checkout to see the delivery options available for your order.
Live shipping rates and delivery estimates
Domestic orders ship through USPS and UPS, with multiple speed methods available depending on your destination and order details. At checkout, you will see live carrier rates, available delivery services, shipping prices, and estimated delivery times before placing your order.
This lets you choose the shipping option that works best for your timing and budget, whether you prefer standard delivery, faster shipping, or an express service when available.
Express and time-sensitive shipping
If you need your order quickly, checkout will show the available faster shipping methods based on your address. Because rates and delivery speeds are live, you can compare the available services before placing your order.
If your order is needed for a specific date, such as a new home, wedding, Bar or Bat Mitzvah, holiday, or time-sensitive gift, please contact us before ordering. We will do our best to help you choose the best available option.
Local pickup at our Los Angeles store
You are welcome to pick up your order in person at our Los Angeles store instead of having it shipped. Choose pickup at checkout when it is available for your order.
Most pickup orders are ready within 4 hours, and you will receive a notification as soon as yours is ready. Please wait for that notification before coming in, so we know your order is packed and waiting for you.
Mezuzah Store1440 1/2 S Robertson Blvd
Los Angeles, CA 90035
United States
Pickup is available Sunday 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Thursday 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Friday 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. We are closed Saturday for Shabbat and on most Jewish holidays.
International shipping
We ship to most countries. International flat rates start at $12 and vary by destination, and free international shipping is available to certain countries once your order reaches that country's threshold. Your exact rate, the available services, and the delivery estimate for your address are all shown at checkout before you pay.
Please note that international orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, import fees, brokerage fees, or other charges from the destination country or carrier. These fees are set and collected by your country, not by us, and they are the responsibility of the recipient.
PO Boxes, military addresses, and carrier options
Many orders can be shipped to PO Boxes and military addresses when a compatible carrier service is available. The available carrier options, service speeds, live rates, and delivery estimates are shown at checkout based on your shipping address and order details.
If you need a specific carrier or have a special delivery requirement, please contact us before placing your order and we will do our best to help.
Mezuzahs with scrolls
Mezuzah cases and kosher scrolls are sold separately, but most product pages allow you to add the correct scroll size before checkout. If you purchase a scroll together with a mezuzah case, our team can carefully roll and wrap the scroll, place it inside the case, and make sure it is protected for the journey to your home.
This way, your mezuzah arrives ready to affix to your doorway, making the process simple and meaningful. Once it arrives, you can place it on the doorpost and recite the mezuzah blessing when appropriate, bringing the mitzvah into your home with care, beauty, and confidence.
If you are shopping for an exterior doorway, we recommend browsing our water-resistant mezuzahs or contacting us before ordering so we can help you choose a suitable case for the location.
Gift orders
Mezuzahs make thoughtful Jewish gifts for a new home, wedding, office, Bar or Bat Mitzvah, holiday, or meaningful doorway. You can add a gift message during checkout, and if the billing and shipping details are different, we do not include prices in the package.
For meaningful gift ideas, you can browse our Jewish housewarming gifts, Jewish wedding gifts, and Jewish gifts. If you are not sure which mezuzah case, kosher scroll, tefillin set, or Judaica piece they would love most, a Mezuzah Store gift card is a thoughtful way to let them choose something meaningful for their own home, doorway, or mitzvah.
If an item is out of stock
From time to time, an item listed on our site may become unavailable after an order is placed. If this happens, we will contact you by phone or email to help you decide whether you would like to wait for the item, choose a different item, or cancel that part of the order.
Returns and Satisfaction Guarantee
We stand behind our products
We stand behind the quality of our products and want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. If you do not love your order for any reason, you may request a return or an exchange within 90 days of receiving it.
To be eligible, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You will also need your receipt or proof of purchase. We never charge a restocking fee.
We also appreciate a short note letting us know why you are returning the item. It is never required, but it helps us understand how we can serve our customers better in the future.
How to start a return
You can start a return directly from your customer account, or you can contact us and our team will be happy to handle it for you. Please request the return before shipping anything back, so we can tell you exactly where to send it and make sure it is processed correctly when it arrives.
- Start from your account: Log in to your customer account
- Email customer service: service@mezuzahstore.com
- Call or text us: +1 (310) 278-4428
Who pays for return shipping?
If the fault is ours, the return is on us. That includes an item that arrives damaged or defective, a scroll that is not as described, the wrong item, or an item that does not match how it was shown or described on our website in color, size, or appearance. Contact us and we will send you a prepaid return shipping label.
If you are returning an item because you changed your mind, return shipping is your responsibility. You may use any carrier you like, and we recommend a tracked service so you know when it reaches us.
Return address
Mail your return to our Los Angeles store at the address below. Please include your name, order number, and a short note inside the package so we can process it properly.

Returning in person
You are welcome to bring your return to our Los Angeles store within the same 90 day window, at the address above. Please contact us first so we know to expect you and can have your order record ready.
Store hours are Sunday 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Thursday 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Friday 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. We are closed Saturday for Shabbat and on most Jewish holidays.
International returns
International orders may be returned within the same 90 day window. Please contact us before shipping anything back so we can guide you through the customs paperwork and help the package clear without delay.
Original shipping costs, customs duties, taxes, and import fees already paid to your country are not refundable, because they are collected by the destination country and the carrier rather than by us. If the fault is ours, we cover the cost of getting the item back to us.
Damaged, defective, or incorrect items
Every order is inspected and packed carefully by our team, but if your item arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or not as described, please contact us right away. We will help make it right with an exchange, replacement, or refund, and we cover the return shipping.
If possible, please keep the original packaging and send photos of the item and package. This helps us assist you faster and resolve the issue properly.
Exchanges and store credit
If you would prefer an exchange or store credit instead of a refund, we are glad to arrange it. Contact us and we will help you choose the right replacement, whether that is a different size, a different case, or a different scroll.
Items that cannot be returned
Gift cards cannot be returned.
Personalized items and made-to-order or special-order pieces are final sale, because they are made specifically for you. This does not affect your rights if the item arrives damaged, defective, or not as described, in which case we will always make it right.
Sale items can be returned like anything else, unless the product page clearly marks the item as final sale.
If you are unsure whether an item qualifies, please get in touch before ordering and we will tell you.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You will also need your receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return, and let you know whether the refund was approved. If approved, you will be refunded to your original payment method for the purchase price of the items, minus the original shipping cost, within 10 business days.
Please remember that it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your return, please contact us at service@mezuzahstore.com.

Frequently asked questions
What does shipping cost, and when is it free?
Standard domestic shipping is a flat $5, whether you are ordering one mezuzah case or filling a cart for a whole house, and no matter where in the United States it is going. Once your domestic order passes $100, standard shipping is free and the discount is applied at checkout without a code.
Faster options with live carrier rates also appear at checkout, so you can choose the speed that fits and see the cost beside the delivery estimate before you commit to anything. International rates are separate and start at $12, and they vary by destination.
When will my order leave your store?
Orders placed while we are open almost always go out the same or the next business day. Handling adds no more than one business day before the package is in a carrier's hands, and you will receive an email with tracking as soon as it leaves us.
We are closed Saturday for Shabbat and on most Jewish holidays, so an order placed late Friday or over a yom tov ships as soon as we reopen. Our website takes orders around the clock even when the store itself is closed.
How soon will my package arrive once it has shipped?
Standard domestic orders typically arrive 2 to 5 business days after they ship, and California addresses usually land within 1 to 2 business days. Remember to add up to one business day of handling on the front end when you are counting back from a date.
Those windows are carrier estimates, not promises. Weather, carrier backlogs, and holiday volume can add a day. If your order is time sensitive, pick a faster service at checkout or call us first and we will help you choose.
Which carriers will deliver my order?
Domestic orders ship with USPS and UPS. DHL and FedEx handle our international shipments only, so you will not see them offered for a delivery inside the United States.
The exact services available for your address appear at checkout once you enter your shipping details, with live carrier rates and speeds shown for each available method beside its delivery estimate. If you need a particular carrier or have an unusual delivery requirement, contact us before you order and we will tell you honestly what is possible.
I need this by a specific date. What are my options?
Enter your address at checkout and the faster services available to you will appear with live pricing and estimated delivery dates, so you can weigh speed against cost yourself. For a new home, a wedding, a Bar or Bat Mitzvah, or a holiday, we would rather hear from you before you place the order.
Email service@mezuzahstore.com or call +1 (310) 278-4428 with your date and your zip code, and we will tell you which option actually gets it there in time.
Do you ship outside the United States?
We do, to most countries. International flat rates start at $12 and vary by destination, and free international shipping is available to certain countries once your order reaches that country's threshold. Your rate, the available services, and the delivery estimate for your address are all shown at checkout before you pay.
Customs duties, taxes, import fees, and brokerage charges are set and collected by the destination country and the carrier, not by us, and they are the responsibility of the recipient. It is worth checking your own country's rules before ordering so nothing at the door comes as a surprise.
Can you deliver to a PO Box or a military address?
Many orders can go to PO Boxes and military addresses when a compatible carrier service is available for that destination. Enter the address at checkout and the options that will actually reach it, along with live rates and delivery estimates, will be listed for you.
If nothing suitable appears, get in touch before ordering. We have been shipping kosher mezuzah scrolls and Judaica since 1999 and we usually know a way.
Can I pick up my order at your Los Angeles store instead?
Yes. Choose pickup at checkout when it is offered for your order, and skip shipping entirely. Most pickup orders are ready within 4 hours, and you will get a notification the moment yours is packed and waiting. Please wait for that notification before coming in.

Pickup hours are Sunday 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Thursday 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Friday 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. We are closed Saturday for Shabbat and on most Jewish holidays.
What if I need to send something back?
You have 90 days from the day your order arrives to request a return or an exchange, and we never charge a restocking fee. We stand by our mezuzahs, and if a piece is not right for your doorway we would rather you tell us than live with it.
If the fault is ours, meaning the item arrived damaged, was not as described, or is a different size than advertised, we cover the return shipping and send you a prepaid label. If you simply changed your mind, return shipping is yours to arrange, and we suggest a tracked service. Start from your customer account or email service@mezuzahstore.com and we will take it from there.
What should I do if my item arrives damaged or incorrect?
We are so sorry, and we will make it right together. Email service@mezuzahstore.com with your order number and a photo of the item and its packaging, and our team will arrange a replacement, exchange, or refund right away. Please keep the original packaging until everything is resolved. If a kosher scroll is involved, we will also guide you on handling it respectfully.
If I buy a case and a scroll together, does the scroll arrive inside the case?
Mezuzah cases and kosher scrolls are priced and sold separately, since plenty of customers already own a scroll and need only a new case. Most product pages let you add the correct scroll size to the same order, and when you do, our team rolls and wraps the klaf, seats it inside the case, and packs it so it travels safely.
Your mezuzah then arrives ready to go up on the doorpost. If you are unsure which size fits, our mezuzah case size guide walks through it, and our page on putting up a mezuzah covers what to do once it is in your hands.
