Send a Mezuzah as a Gift

Every Mezuzah Store order ships in our gift box packaging at no charge, gift or not. Sending a mezuzah as a gift takes about a minute: tap + Make It a Gift under Add to Cart on any product page and, if you like, write a message for a free card. Ship it straight to the recipient, and if the billing and shipping details are different, we do not include prices in the package.

We have been family-owned since 1999, and the scrolls we sell are handwritten by Certified Sofrei STaM (סוֹפְרֵי סְתָ״ם, scribes of sacred texts) and 100% kosher, guaranteed.

How to Send a Mezuzah as a Gift

1. Tap + Make It a Gift. The button sits under Add to Cart on the product page, and the same gift block is in your cart.
2. Choose the occasion. The choices are Housewarming, Wedding, Bar or Bat Mitzvah, New Baby, Holiday and Just Because.
3. Fill in To, From and your message. The card message can be up to 300 characters. The message is optional: leave it empty and we send the gift box without a card.
4. Check the card preview and press Save Gift Details. The block then reads Gift Box and Card Added.
5. Check out. Your gift details go with your whole order. To send the gift straight to the recipient, enter their address as the shipping address.

What the Recipient Finds in the Gift Box

The gift box and the message card are free. If you add a message, it is printed on a card in a handwriting-style font and tucked inside the gift box. If you leave the message empty, the gift arrives in the same gift box without a card.

If the billing and shipping details are different, we do not include prices in the package, so you can ship straight to the recipient.

Order a Mezuzah Case and Scroll Together as a Gift

Mezuzah cases and kosher scrolls are sold separately, but most product pages let you add the right scroll size to the same order. Our Kosher Mezuzah Scrolls collection lists every size and level.

When you order a case and a scroll together, you choose how they ship. We can roll the scroll, place it inside the case and seal the back, so the mezuzah arrives ready to affix to the doorpost. Or the scroll ships separately in a clear acrylic protective tube. Every case lists its Scroll Fit: the maximum is the largest scroll it takes, and every size from 2.5-inch up to that maximum fits. Mounting Supplies for the Doorpost

Shipping a Gift to the Recipient

Standard domestic shipping is a flat $5, and it is free on domestic orders over $100. Faster services are priced live at checkout, so you can compare the options and their delivery estimates before you place your order.

Most orders ship the same or next business day, and standard domestic orders typically arrive within 2 to 5 business days after they ship. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees, so for a time sensitive gift choose a faster service at checkout. Our shipping and returns page has every detail. For Hanukkah 2026, we recommend ordering by Tuesday, November 24 for delivery before the first night. That is our recommended date, not a guarantee.

Can I add a note to my gift?

Yes. Use + Make It a Gift, choose the occasion and write your message, up to 300 characters. It is printed on a card in a handwriting-style font and tucked inside the gift box. The note is free and optional.

Will the recipient see the price?

If the billing and shipping details are different, we do not include prices in the package.

Does the scroll come inside the case?

It is your choice. When you order a case and a scroll together, we can place the scroll inside the case and seal the back so it arrives ready to affix, or ship the scroll separately in a clear acrylic protective tube.

Can the recipient exchange the gift?

Yes. The recipient can exchange it within 90 days. They contact us with the order number or the giver's name, and we arrange an exchange or store credit. Any refund goes to the giver. The item must be unused and in its original packaging. Gift cards cannot be returned.
