Hamsa Mezuzahs

The open hand of the hamsa (חַמְסָה, hand-shaped motif) has a familiar place in many Jewish homes. On a mezuzah case, its five-fingered form may become the main design or a smaller accent among other Judaica details.

Blue enamel, warm metal finishes, and expressive detail give hamsa mezuzahs a lively range of character. The rich surfaces of decorative mezuzah cases leave room for the hand motif alongside Hebrew lettering and other familiar Jewish symbols.

Choose the design for its meaning and the way it suits the home. The handwritten scroll inside a mezuzah remains the essential part of the mitzvah, with the case giving it a respectful place on the doorpost.
