Star of David Mezuzahs

The Magen David (מָגֵן דָּוִד, Shield of David) gives these mezuzah cases a familiar six-pointed Jewish symbol. It may appear as a small accent, a colorful centerpiece, or part of a larger arrangement of Judaica motifs.

A Star of David can be simple and understated or surrounded by mosaic color, Jerusalem detail, and expressive metalwork. The brighter accents found in colorful mezuzah covers give this familiar emblem a different feeling on each doorway.

The design should feel right for the household while the case securely holds its parchment. The meaning of Shema Yisrael explains the declaration of faith written within a kosher mezuzah scroll.
