Made in Israel, this mezuzah cover pairs easily with wood doors, warm furnishings, and the rooms where family life happens. This brown mezuzah brings a comforting, familiar finish to the doorpost. The woodgrain is a decorative pattern on acrylic.

Complete Your Classic Woodgrain Mezuzah with a Kosher Scroll
This case fits a 5-inch (13 cm) kosher mezuzah scroll. Select the matching size in the Complete Your Mezuzah area on this product page.
If you purchase the scroll with the case, we can carefully roll, wrap, and insert it before shipping so your mezuzah arrives ready to affix. For protected exterior use, close the snap-in cap firmly after inserting the scroll. Replacement mezuzah tape is available separately.
The mitzvah is fulfilled by the handwritten parchment inside. The mezuzah klaf (קְלָף, parchment) holds the Shema (שמע, “Hear”) passages written by a sofer (סופר, scribe).
Choose a scroll that follows your family’s minhag (מנהג, custom). We offer Ashkenazi mezuzah scrolls in that writing tradition. Match the parchment to the size listed above. Our Sephardic mezuzah scrolls are also available for families who follow that custom.
The parchment is the heart of the mezuzah. Our guide to the mezuzah scroll explains its handwritten Hebrew text and kosher writing. Existing scrolls deserve regular attention so learn more on how to check your mezuzah through our inspection service.
A secure position matters when you affix the case. Follow our how to put up a mezuzah guide for doorway position, height, and orientation.
Classic Woodgrain Mezuzah Design and Jewish Meaning
Shin (ש), associated with Shaddai (שדי, Almighty), is finished in silver with a small crown above the left stroke. This familiar detail gives the case the character of traditional mezuzah covers. The woodgrain background adds a gentle warmth beside natural wood trim.
Classic Woodgrain is a thoughtful choice for Jewish housewarming gifts. Its brown tones and bright silver letter feel at home in a newly settled room, an apartment entrance, or a family doorway.
