Complete Your Crowned Spiral Mezuzah with a Kosher Scroll
This case fits a 6-inch (15 cm) kosher scroll. Select the matching size in the Complete Your Mezuzah area on this product page.
If you purchase the scroll with the case, we can carefully roll, wrap, and insert it before shipping so your mezuzah arrives ready to affix. For protected exterior use, sealing the back with double-sided tape helps create an airtight seal around the scroll chamber. Use nails or screws to affix this case. Replacement mezuzah tape is available separately.
The mitzvah is fulfilled by the handwritten parchment inside. The kosher klaf for mezuzah (קְלָף, parchment) holds the Shema (שמע, “Hear”) passages written by a sofer (סופר, scribe).
Choose a scroll that follows your family’s minhag (מנהג, custom). We offer Ashkenazi mezuzahs in that writing tradition. Match the parchment to the size listed above. Our Sephardic mezuzahs are also available for families who follow that custom.
The parchment is the heart of the mezuzah. Our guide to the mezuzah scroll explains its handwritten Hebrew text and kosher writing.
A secure position matters when you affix the case. Follow our mezuzah placement guide for doorway position, height, and orientation.
Existing scrolls also need care over time. Our mezuzah inspection guide explains the inspection service.
Crowned Spiral Mezuzah Design and Jewish Meaning
The framed Shin (ש) is surrounded by small curling motifs, with raised collars and flourished ends completing the design. This rich metalwork gives the case the beauty of decorative mezuzah cases. Shin is associated with Shaddai (שדי, Almighty).
The ornate metalwork and gift-box presentation make Crowned Spiral a beautiful choice for Jewish wedding gifts. It brings a little of the care and beauty of ceremonial Judaica to a doorway used every day.
