The Classic White Marble Outdoor Aluminum Mezuzah is a sleek mezuzah case made in Israel with a white marble-inspired finish, subtle gray veining, and a gold-tone Hebrew Shin. As a mezuzah cover, its slim five-inch aluminum body brings the elegance of pale stone to the doorway while remaining lightweight, practical, and well suited for exterior use.

A screw-in cap closes the bottom of the case, helping secure and protect the scroll chamber from ordinary outdoor moisture. The smooth aluminum construction and included extra-strong mounting tape make this a simple option for front entrances, back doors, patios, apartment doorways, offices, and interior rooms.

The soft white coloring keeps the design bright and versatile, while the gray veining gives the surface more depth than a plain solid finish. Within our wider range of Mezuzah Cases, it offers a clean balance of modern styling, outdoor practicality, and recognizable Jewish symbolism.

A White Marble Look on Lightweight Aluminum

The pale surface is designed to resemble white marble, with soft gray markings running through the finish. The case itself is aluminum rather than natural marble, allowing it to maintain a slim shape and lighter weight.

This marble-inspired treatment gives the doorway a bright, refined appearance without the natural variation, thickness, or weight associated with a solid stone case. The finish coordinates easily with white trim, pale wood, stone, tile, brushed metal, chrome, brass, and neutral exterior materials.

Its practical metal construction places it among aluminum mezuzah cases, while its clean coloring complements other white mezuzah covers selected for bright and understated entrances.

A Gold Shin against the Marble-Inspired Finish

The front displays a gold-tone Shin (ש, Hebrew letter). Its warm metallic finish stands out clearly against the white and gray background while keeping the overall design restrained.

Shin is the first letter of Shaddai (שַׁדַּי, Divine Name), traditionally associated with the mezuzah. Shaddai is also connected with Shomer Daltot Yisrael (שׁוֹמֵר דַּלְתוֹת יִשְׂרָאֵל, Guardian of the doorways of Israel).

This is a traditional Jewish association rather than a guarantee that the decorative case itself provides protection. The gold Shin identifies and beautifies the holder, while the handwritten kosher klaf inside fulfills the mitzvah (מִצְוָה, commandment).

A Screw-In Bottom Cap Designed for Outdoor Use

The scroll is inserted through the bottom of the case after the screw-in cap is removed. Once the parchment is positioned correctly, the cap is tightened to close the chamber.

This enclosed bottom design makes the case especially practical for exterior doorways. When the cap and chamber are sealed properly, the case is water-resistant and helps shield the parchment from ordinary moisture.

The white marble finish gives it a more decorative appearance than a basic outdoor tube while preserving the function expected from mezuzah cases for outdoors.

Water-resistant does not mean completely waterproof. A recessed or sheltered entrance is preferred when available, and the screw cap should be inspected periodically to confirm that it remains secure.

The protection offered by water-resistant mezuzahs depends on the case remaining closed properly and the parchment staying dry.

Made in Israel for Modern Jewish Doorways

The Classic White Marble Outdoor Aluminum Mezuzah is made in Israel, connecting its Hebrew symbol and doorway purpose with Eretz Yisrael (אֶרֶץ יִשְׂרָאֵל, Land of Israel).

Its smooth aluminum shape and neutral marble-inspired finish allow it to coordinate with both traditional and contemporary architecture. The case can be used on a front entrance, apartment door, office, bedroom, hallway, patio entrance, or another doorway requiring a mezuzah.

Its origin places it naturally among other handcrafted Israeli mezuzahs designed to bring practical Judaica into everyday Jewish life.

The clean surface and simple silhouette also work well beside modern mezuzah cases chosen for renovated homes, minimalist interiors, and updated exterior entrances.

Choosing a 4-Inch Kosher Mezuzah Scroll

The interior chamber is designed to hold one 4-Inch (10 cm) Kosher Mezuzah Scroll. The parchment must fit comfortably inside without being folded, trimmed, crushed, pinched, or forced.

The five-inch measurement describes the exterior height of the aluminum case. Scroll compatibility should always be based on the stated 4-Inch maximum rather than on the outer measurement alone.

When a compatible scroll is purchased with the case, Mezuzah Store can carefully roll and insert it through the bottom opening. The screw cap is then closed and sealed to help protect the parchment and improve water resistance.

The aluminum holder protects and presents the klaf (קְלָף, parchment), while the handwritten text fulfills the mitzvah. A compatible option may be selected from our Kosher Mezuzah Scrolls for sale.

The Jewish Door Scroll contains the passages of Shema and Vehaya im shamoa handwritten by a qualified sofer STaM according to halacha.

The case and parchment serve different purposes. Our explanation of what a mezuzah is distinguishes the decorative protective holder from the sacred handwritten scroll placed inside it.

White Marble or Brown Woodgrain Aluminum

This white marble-inspired version offers a brighter and cooler appearance, pairing pale gray veining with a warm gold Shin. Its outdoor-focused screw cap also gives the bottom of the case a securely enclosed design.

The related Classic Brown Woodgrain Aluminum Mezuzah uses a warmer brown finish and silver Shin for doorways that coordinate more naturally with wood, bronze, and earth-toned architecture.

Both designs are made in Israel from aluminum, fit a 4-Inch scroll, and mount with included extra-strong double-sided tape. The choice comes down to doorway color, preferred finish, and whether the white marble or brown woodgrain effect better suits the space.

Mounting with Included Extra-Strong Tape

The Classic White Marble Outdoor Aluminum Mezuzah affixes with extra-strong double-sided mezuzah mounting tape, which is included. No nails are needed.

The tape should be applied to a clean, dry, smooth, and stable portion of the doorpost. Painted wood, metal, glass, tile, and other even surfaces generally allow the strongest adhesive contact.

Dust, moisture, peeling paint, porous masonry, heavy texture, or an unstable finish can weaken the bond. Clean the area thoroughly, allow it to dry, and press the case firmly into position.

Fresh mezuzah mounting tape should be used if the case is removed and installed again, since previously used adhesive may no longer provide a secure hold.

Placement, Blessing, and Periodic Checking

Instructions explaining how to install a mezuzah cover the correct side of the entrance, placement within the upper portion of the doorpost, and the need for a firm attachment.

The case should remain clear of the moving door, storm door, furniture, packages, and other objects that could strike it or loosen the adhesive.

When the relevant halachic conditions apply, the prayer for hanging a mezuzah is recited as the case is affixed.

Exterior conditions can affect parchment over time. The guidelines covering when mezuzahs should be checked are especially relevant for entrances exposed to changing temperatures or moisture.

Caring for the White Marble-Look Finish

Clean the case with a soft, dry or lightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive pads, rough brushes, bleach, acidic cleaners, harsh solvents, and strong chemicals that could scratch the aluminum or affect the printed marble finish and gold Shin.

Do not soak the case or allow cleaning liquid to enter around the screw cap. After cleaning, confirm that the cap remains tightly closed and the mounting tape is still secure.

If moisture is ever visible inside the chamber, remove the parchment carefully without touching the handwritten letters and arrange for it to be examined by a qualified sofer or magiah.

With its soft white marble appearance, gold Hebrew Shin, lightweight aluminum body, screw-in bottom cap, and Israeli origin, the Classic White Marble Outdoor Aluminum Mezuzah offers an elegant and practical case for interior and exterior Jewish doorways.
