The Pink Peace Pewter Mezuzah is a silver-tone pewter mezuzah case made in the USA with hand-painted enamel, sparkling pink jeweled accents, a raised Hebrew Shin, and a detailed Jerusalem-inspired cityscape. As a mezuzah cover, it combines traditional Jewish imagery with a bright, feminine touch that brings color, charm, and meaning to the doorway.

Rows of pink crystal-style jewels frame the architectural scene near the lower half of the case, adding sparkle and dimension against the softly textured silver finish. The raised Shin above the cityscape gives the design a clear Jewish symbol, while the compact shape makes it practical for narrow doorposts and smaller spaces.

Customers comparing decorative mezuzah cases will find that this piece offers far more visual detail than a plain silver holder while remaining small enough for bedrooms, apartments, offices, hallways, and other meaningful doorways.

A Pink Jeweled Mezuzah with a Jerusalem Scene

The sparkling pink jeweled accents are one of the most distinctive features of this case. They form decorative borders around the Jerusalem-inspired cityscape, catching the light and adding color without covering the raised architectural details beneath them.

The silver-and-pink palette gives this piece a natural place among our pink mezuzah cases. Customers who enjoy light-catching Judaica can also compare it with other jeweled mezuzah designs.

The combination of sculpted pewter, enamel, stones, and city imagery also connects it with decorative mezuzahs chosen to make the doorway feel more personal and expressive.

Made in the USA from Detailed Pewter

This mezuzah is made in the USA from pewter, a material that holds raised artwork and fine sculptural detail especially well. The muted silver-tone surface provides a traditional base for the pink enamel and jeweled accents.

Its layered artwork gives it the expressive character found throughout our pewter mezuzah cases, while the 4-inch exterior height keeps the overall case compact.

Customers working with narrow trim or smaller interior doorways can compare it with other small mezuzah cases designed to provide meaningful detail without requiring a wide doorpost.

The Raised Shin and the Kosher Scroll Inside

The upper portion of the case displays a raised Shin (ש, Hebrew letter). Shin is traditionally associated with Shaddai (שַׁדַּי, Divine Name), a name closely connected with the mezuzah.

Shaddai is also traditionally associated with Shomer Daltot Yisrael (שׁוֹמֵר דַּלְתוֹת יִשְׂרָאֵל, Guardian of the doorways of Israel). The exterior Shin gives the case recognizable Jewish meaning, but it does not make the mezuzah kosher by itself.

The sacred component is the handwritten mezuzah klaf (קְלָף, parchment) placed inside. The case protects and presents the scroll, while the handwritten Torah passages fulfill the mitzvah (מִצְוָה, commandment).

Choosing the Correct 2.8-Inch Kosher Mezuzah Scroll

This compact case fits a 2.8-Inch (7 cm) Kosher Mezuzah Scroll. A standard 4-inch parchment is too large for the interior chamber and should not be folded, trimmed, bent, crushed, or forced into the case.

This mezuzah case can be paired with the matching kosher mezuzah scroll shown in the product add-on area near the Add to Cart button. For this size, choose the Extra Small Kosher Mezuzah Scroll, which is made for compact mezuzah cases that hold a 2.8-inch scroll.

If you purchase the scroll with the case, Mezuzah Store can carefully roll and insert it through the back before shipping. We also seal the rear chamber with double-sided tape to help protect the parchment and improve the case’s water resistance.

Additional parchment options can be found in our main Kosher Mezuzah Scrolls collection.

The guide to what is written inside a mezuzah explains the Shema, Vehaya im shamoa, klaf, Divine Names, and halachic writing requirements of the sacred scroll.

Mounting with Included Nails or Screws

The Pink Peace Pewter Mezuzah affixes securely through the top and bottom mounting holes. The required nails or screws are included, so the case arrives with the materials needed for installation.

The hardware should pass only through the designated mounting holes. It should never touch, pierce, or press against the parchment inside the rear chamber.

For exterior placement, the back should be sealed properly using fresh double-sided mezuzah tape. This helps close the rear chamber and keep ordinary moisture away from the handwritten scroll.

Indoor and Exterior Doorpost Use

This pewter mezuzah is suitable for indoor doorways and exterior doorposts when the back is sealed properly with double-sided tape. Its water-resistant setup can be used on front entrances, back doors, apartment doorways, bedrooms, offices, and other qualifying spaces.

Water-resistant does not mean completely waterproof. The rear seal should be checked periodically on exterior doorposts, especially when the case is exposed to rain, sprinklers, direct sun, humidity, or changing temperatures.

Mezuzah Placement and Blessing

Correct mezuzah door placement generally positions the case on the right side when entering the room or home, within the upper portion of the doorpost and according to the household’s minhag (מִנְהָג, custom).

When the applicable halachic conditions are met, the blessing for putting up a mezuzah is recited during installation.

A Colorful Mezuzah for Bedrooms and Gifts

The silver pewter, bright pink jewels, Jerusalem-inspired artwork, and compact proportions make this design especially charming for a bedroom, apartment, dorm room, office, guest room, or family doorway.

Its playful color and smaller format also make it a natural companion to other children’s mezuzah cases, although the detailed Jerusalem scene and silver finish are sophisticated enough for adults as well.

Because it ships gift-box ready, it is an easy choice among Jewish housewarming gifts for a new apartment, bedroom, home, office, or special doorway.

Its accessible price also places it among meaningful Jewish gifts under $50 that still feel decorative, personal, and ready to present.

How to Care for the Pewter, Enamel, and Pink Jewels

Gently dust the case with a soft, dry cloth. A lightly damp cloth may be used when needed, but the surface should be dried immediately afterward.

Avoid abrasive pads, rough brushes, bleach, acidic cleaners, metal polish, strong solvents, and soaking water. Do not scrape or pull at the pink jeweled accents, and do not allow moisture to enter the back scroll chamber.
